Nikah Halala

In this post let's look at Nikah Halala (tahleel marriage)

Now let's check Tasir of 2:229-230 in Ibn Kathir

The women needs to consumate a marriage before she can marry her husband again.

Let's continue reading the same Tafsir, there it mentions a situation on how Allah's apostle allowed Nikah Halala.

Now look at the hadith on Sahih al-Bukhari 6084

Now, check this Sahih hadith Sunan an-Nasa'i 3415

Now we will look the Sahih Muslim 1433f

Note that even the second husband divorced her. But Muhammad is saying she can marry her first husband UNLESS & UNTIL (Sahih al-Bukhari 6084) the second husband had tasted her sweetness. Muhammad doesn't even saying to marry second husband first, who divorced her; but he his encouraging to taste the sweetness. What kind of a pathetic way of teaching is this.

When we check Sahih al-Bukhari 5825 we get more details why that lady needs a divorse to get back to his old husband.

From this we understand that Rifaa divorsed her wife in a bad mood, after that she was married to Abdur-Rahman. Eventhough Abdur-Rahman already have a wife and two sons, Rifaa's wife doesn't want to have sexual realtion with him and needs to get back to his old husband who was ready to accept her, because he only divorced ( Talaq 3 times in angry mood ) in a bad mood.

Since Rifaa's wife doesn't want to have sexual intercourse with another man other than her previous husband, she was beaten harshly by Abdur-Rahman. That's how her skin becomes green.

Whe she went to Aisha, wife of Muhammad; Aisha supported her, but when Abdur-Rahman came and tell about Rifaa's wife's wish to get back at Rifaa without having sexual intercourse with Abdur-Rahman. Muhammad told "it is unlawful for you to remarry Rifa`a unless `Abdur-Rahman has had sexual intercourse with you."

This is the whole story how the verse Quran 2:230 is revealed to Muhammad by Allah. What a disgusting thing.
