Genealogy of Muhammad

Here we can check the Genealogy of Muhammad mentioned in Ibn Ishaq Sirat Rasul Allah page 3. This is considered as the most commonly used genealogy of Muhammad.

Upto Adnan, most of the Islamic scholars provide same genealogy. After that it is different for each.

Adnan is believed to born around BC 598, So from his birth to starting of AD (In the year of the Lord) counts for around 500years. And Muhammad was born around AD 571 and his death around AD 632.

So, 500+571 = 1071. So in about 1071 years there are 21 generations excluding Adnan and Muhammad.

When we look the time when Abraham in the Bible lived, we can find he lived around BC 1800.

So the time period between Abraham and Adnan is about 1203 years. And in between them (Adnan and Ibrahim) only 8 generations are provided.

This is impossible.

Also, Jerussalem Temple is built by Solomon and lived around BC 990–931 whereas Abraham lived around BC 1800. So there is about 900 years gap between Abraham and Solomon.

Muslims believe that Kabha was built by Ibrahim & Ishmail whereas Jerrusalem Temple was built by Sulaiman.

In this Muhammad claims that the period between them was just 40 years.
